Carol Weleski, Office Manager
Carol Weleski joined Bluegrass Elderlaw, PLLC in 2013 where she is the office manager. She maintains client accounts and keeps the office running smoothly. She additionally assists the attorneys with drafting legal documents including powers-of-attorney. She is very dedicated to the clients that she assists.
She was raised in Pennsylvania but has lived in many different states. Her experience gives her a unique perspective regarding family needs and issues. Carol enjoys reading and spending time with her family, which includes many adorable grandchildren.
Livia Volpini, Administrative Assistant
Livia Volpini joined Bluegrass Elderlaw, PLLC in March 2018 as an Administrative Assistant. When you call our office, she will probably assist you scheduling your appointment. Livia is very enthusiastic in helping with all our client’s needs both in the office and over the phone. She also assists the attorneys with document drafting.
Livia previously worked as medical assistant for a group of physicians. She brought her knowledge of confidentiality and hospitality with her to our office.
She was born in Brazil (“Brasil”) and was raised in Naples, Florida. She has 2 children and a husband that she loves dearly. She speaks Portuguese and some Spanish.
Carolyn McCown, Medicaid Administrative Assistant
Carolyn “Coop” McCown joined Bluegrass Elderlaw as an Medicaid Assistant in 2018, where she handles the Medicaid application process for our clients. Prior to joining the firm, she worked for Fayette County Public Schools and The American Red Cross. Before relocating to Lexington, KY in 2003, she resided in Washington, D.C. where she worked for several law firms.
Carolyn is originally from New York City. She enjoys reading and spending quality time with her husband and their 10 grandchildren.
